when I bought my new dresser . I didn’t exactly knew what to do with it. So I left it outside on my curbside hoping that someone who needs it might just take it. But after a few days I felt bad when I saw it just getting rain and snow on it . So I took it back in and kept in in my basement. Then my husband recommended that we put a posting on marketplace so that if somebody needs it they can have it . But since it is a big thing and most people don’t have an access to something like a truck to pic it up . Our hopes of selling it was broken.
But then my sister gave me an idea . That since we want it removed. Why don’t we donate dresser . Which was actually a great idea. Because there is a lot people in Niagara Falls that needed dresser. So we contacted Value Village to donate dresser. but they let us down by saying that they can’t take any large items.

So a friend of mine who works at the salvation Amy in Niagara Falls recommended me to go to Niagara Furniture bank. So I contacted Niagara Furniture Bank for my furniture donation. They were nice about the furniture drop off. They gave me very clear instructions on what to do before my drop-off. I was showed me their donation calculator where I could actually see the amount of charitable tax receipt i would get for my donations. Seeing that I actually realized that the used chair and coffee table that I didn’t need anymore could get me more charitable tax receipt.
They were really comforting throughout the process. I received all the charitable tax receipt for all donated items. I am more than satisfied with my experience with them. From the phone call till the actual drop-off they were very polite and efficient. I would be more than happy recommend Niagara Furniture Bank to someone in need of an Furniture Drop off. I am happy that the dresser I donated will be now give someone that needed dresser.
