Niagara Centre for Independent Living
Niagara Furniture Bank is proud to offer our services to those at the Niagara Centre for Independent Living in the Niagara Region. When it come to supporting other local non-profit agencies we will always be there. Our community would not be able to thrive without these alliances. For the month of July 2021, we recognized and celebrated 'Disability Pride Month' on our Facebook page. Our goal was to amplify the voices of our disabled community members, whether they be our friends, family, neighbors or strangers.
Niagara Centre for Independent Living' embodies disability pride, each and everyday. Their mission is to offer services to those with developmental disabilities. To aid each individual in reaching their full potential. Each is encouraged to learn new skills and develop their own unique interests through the many programs offered. The Niagara Centre for Independent Living also offers a variety of social events for community members.

The Independent Living and Niagara Furniture Bank alliance is imperative to our community members living with disabilities, and doing so independently. The mission of the Niagara Furniture Bank is to help others by providing gently used furnishings to those in need. We want to see each and every individual within our community thrive and living a healthy, happy and independent life.
Because When you are supporting and contributing to Niagara Furniture Bank, it does not end there. We are stronger together and could not do the amazing things we do without working together with other community organizations.
