Hi my name is Liam .I live in West Lincoln. During the pandemic i was living in Lincoln . Then I moved in with my girlfriend a few weeks ago . So when I did move I had a lot of kitchen appliances such as pots and pans , toaster etc. That I didn’t have a need any more. So I wanted to donate pots and pans that I no longer had any more need for. Initially i was going to put them on marketplace on Facebook and sell them . But later on I realized that it isn’t worth anything and the better thing to do is to donate it to someone who might actually need it. So I contacted couple of my friends and non of them really had any need for pots and pans. Either they have them already or they didn’t cook at all.

Then I heard about Niagara Furniture Bank from my friend and realized that, that could be a path that I could go in. Helping somebody in need was something i would be proud about. So I decided to  donate pots and pans to Niagara furniture bank using their Furniture Drop-Off service. From our conversation on the phone till the actual drop-off their staff’s were amazing. The Efficiency and quality of their service is truly world class. And they gave me a charitable tax receipt for my donations items using their donation calculator. I would highly recommend them to others.

Our Offices are Temporary Closed

For immediate Release – June 7, 2022

Dear Community, Staff, Partners, Donors and Friends,

Niagara Furniture Bank has been an integral part of the community since 2008, we have seen our fair share of ups and downs and have always persevered. The goal of this organization has always been to serve those in need as no one ever deserves to sleep on the floor. Due to the Pandemic, unforeseen circumstances and financial hardship the Niagara Furniture Bank has had to make the hard decision to temporarily close as of May 13, 2022. This decision did not come lightly and we weighed all options prior to closure. Efforts are ongoing to explore the feasibility to continue supporting our community.

We ask for patience, understanding and empathy during this time.
