I was a construction worker in Fort Erie for almost 16 years . But a few years back I was met with critical accident that took me out of work ever since. Since I was healthy and good I never had other financial struggles or need furniture . But ever since the accident nothing was the same anymore. At first my friends and family was there to support me throughout the journey. . But later on that support was no there anymore. And I started to struggle . It took me to a point were I actually had to move to Fort Erie into a cheaper house because I couldn’t afford the my old one.
But as soon as I moved in I realized that I didn’t have any furniture in my procession . I didn’t even have a mattress for myself . I was desperate . But I couldn’t afford any new furniture. So I contacted couple of my friends and they suggested to contact Niagara Furniture Bank to request furniture. The offered to provide me the furniture that I required. Their staff were really nice. The young lady called Kathleen was the one I had talked to . she was really nice form the beginning. she provided me more than what I had requested for. I am really thankful to Niagara Furniture Bank for all the services that they provided for us. And wish them all the best for all future help that they will do for other.
